DMACC is a great place to start if you're planning to pursue a bachelor's degree at a four-year college or university. 90% of DMACC graduates who transferred to one of Iowa's state universities stay enrolled there after one year.

DMACC offers several ways to transfer to four year institutions including partnerships with four-year institutions, transfer degrees, and credits you can use toward your degree.
I Know What I Want To Do
DMACC offers a number degrees that are designed specifically to transfer into your four-year program. Our Liberal Arts Associate in Arts and Associate in Science degrees are our most transferrable degrees, especially to Iowa's Regents Institutions.
I Want Help Starting on a 4-Year Degree
DMACC has several options to help you get started on a 4-year degree path. Students who enroll in a DMACC transfer program enter their transfer college academically prepared and well-versed in the college experience.
Transferring to DMACC
You may be further along on your path to graduation than you know and have college credits, called Credit for Prior Learning (CPL), in the bank.
The cost for DMACC credit classes is set annually by the DMACC Board of Trustees. Your total cost will vary depending on residence, the number of credits taken, any fees and the class format.
Face-to-Face & Web-Blended (Face-to-Face & Online)

Iowa Resident Tuition: $201 per credit hour
Non-Resident Tuition: $231 per credit hour (Non-Resident policy)

*Online Tuition calculation = $201 tuition + $30 online support fee per credit hour.
