This seductive and funny new play about the art of propaganda and the dangerous, ongoing Disinformation Age explores how art can change the world – for better and worse.

About Dick Doesn’t Live Here:
It’s Thanksgiving Day in Minnesota and, in keeping with the spirit of this American holiday, a family is gathering to eat a lot of food and avoid some inconvenient truths.  Joan, the eldest daughter, has offered to host the family dinner this year.  There’s just one complication:  her parents are unaware that Dick, Joan’s boyfriend, lives in the house, as well.  Together, Joan and her sister Jill conspire to get through the holiday without spilling the beans; it’ll require a few little lies and some light reorganizing at home.  This lighthearted family comedy turns to farce as the costs of domestic peace-keeping keep adding up.

Performance Venue

Black Box Theatre

The Black Box Theatre (added in 2016) is a flexible space that can be configured for many types of staging styles. When used in conjunction with a theatrical stage there is flexible seating for up to 200. The Black Box is located within Building 5 near the center of campus and can be accessed from Lots M, K and L.
