FBLA Students Win Top Placements at State Conference

The Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) student organization represented DMACC at the State Leadership Conference (SLC) in Ankeny, Iowa, held February 27 and 28.

These students, accompanied by their advisers, Susan McCoy (Economics Professor), Joe Hanson (Business Management/IT Professor), Katie Seifert (Business Administration Instructor), and Ben Canham (Business Administration Instructor), competed against other college students across Iowa in various events.

Students also had the opportunity to attend a variety of workshops, tour local businesses, and network with business professionals.

All the DMACC students who competed at the conference will have the opportunity to attend the National Leadership Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada this summer.
