Experience fine dining, curated wine pairings, and live music in an elegant, candlelit setting. The Gourmet Dinner classroom introduces our students to globally inspired cuisine designed for the American palate.

  • Location: Lakeview Dining Room of the ICI, Building 7, DMACC Ankeny campus.
  • Champagne reception begins at 6:00 p.m. Dinner is served at 6:30 p.m. (Doors open at 5:45 p.m.)
  • Tickets are $150 per person (unless otherwise noted). $50 per ticket is a tax-deductible charitable contribution as well as credit towards membership in the ICI Chef’s Toque Society.
  • Menus will remain a surprise until the event.
  • Business or cocktail attire is suggested.

Reservation Details

  • Reservations are required. Availability for each dinner is limited and subject to change. Join the ICI mailing list to receive the upcoming 2026 Fall Gourmet Dinner Series schedule and reservation information.
  • The ICI will confirm reservations and provide payment instructions by email. Payment is required to hold your reservation.
  • Individual parties are limited to a maximum of 8 guests. Seating is assigned at elegant communal tables of up to eight guests.
  • We accommodate dietary requests based on medical allergies or religious restrictions. Please specify when requesting a reservation.

Changes & Cancellations

  • Guests will receive a courtesy email notice one week prior to each event.
  • Reservation cancellations or changes can be sent to Kristi Miller at kdmiller9@dmacc.edu. Substitute guests are welcome with prior notice.
  • Cancellation Policy: Cancel at least 72 hours before the event for a full refund. Cancellations made after this window are non-refundable but still qualify for the standard ICI tax-deductible portion per ticket.

Support Our Students
