Struggling with a class or need a test proctor? The Academic Achievement Center (AAC) offers FREE walk-in tutoring, testing services, and make-up exam coordination to help you be successful in your classes.

Bear Essentials Food Pantry

Stocking up made easy! The Bear Essentials Food Pantry is open to ALL members of the DMACC community. Fill your grocery bags once a week with FREE groceries, such as produce, meat, eggs, dairy products, frozen meals, and shelf-stable foods. Selection varies.

Career Services

DMACC Career Services provides no-cost career services to students and alumni at all stages of their career development. Our goal is to support successful transitions from college to career.

Counseling

The DMACC Counseling Department provides mental health counseling and advocacy services that enhance a student's well-being within a confidential, safe and culturally-honoring environment. Counselors are available to discuss concerns such as where you're going with your life, coping with academic difficulties and adjustments, family, friend, and romantic relationship stressors, feeling anxious, sad, and depressed, or anything else that impacts your mental health.

Disability Services

A person with a disability may apply for and receive accommodations through the Disability Services Office to ensure they have equal access to educational services.

Fitness Room & Weight Room

Fitness Room
Get your workout on in our well-equipped fitness room! The fitness room (Room 181) is open to students Monday through Friday, unless closed due to a home athletics event.

Weight Room
Train like a champion in our weight room featuring custom-made equipment! The weight room (Room 193) inside the Fareway Fieldhouse is available to students Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to noon.

Library & Computer Labs

Looking for a quiet environment to study, research, and relax? The Library has a computer lab, study rooms, charging stations, and plenty of resources available for your academic success.

​​​Collection
The Boone collection totals just less than 19,000 pieces including books, videos, audios, compact disks and DVDs. Students and faculty/staff not only have access to the Boone collection, but other DMACC campus libraries as well. Beyond the DMACC libraries, we provide access to Inter​Library Loan (ILL) to obtain materials not owned by the college.

In addition to our print collections students, faculty, and staff have 24/7 access to a wide variety of electronic resources. These collections are available on and off campus. Remote users (off-campus users) will be prompted for your name and your library card number (found on the back of your library card).

Computer Lab / Services
The library provides access to a student computer lab. There are 40 computers where student may write papers, create a Power Point presentation, search the Web or research library resources. Students needing assistance with software applications ​may contact the Academic Achievement Center. In addition, the library offers the following services:

  • Photocopier: $0.10 per page.
  • Color Laser Prints: $0.25 per item.
  • Comb Binding: $0.50 per item.
    Allow 1 business day for staff to bind items. For large jobs, allow 5 business days.

Student Health & Wellness

DMACC goes beyond academics, prioritizing your well-being.  

Student Health & Wellness (SHAW) offers essential services and community resources to support your physical and mental health, empowering you to achieve both personal and academic goals.

Our dedicated team includes a registered nurse, a licensed mental health counselor, and a community resource coordinator, ensuring you have access to a comprehensive range of support.

Student & Community Resources are available to ensure students have the necessary tools and environment to thrive, both inside and outside the classroom.
