The Boone area offers a wealth of attractions. Founded by Captain Nathan Boone, youngest son of frontiersman Daniel Boone, it is the birthplace of Mamie Doud Eisenhower, as well as the site of the well-known story of Kate Shelley; it is also the home of the Boone and Scenic Valley Railroad. We're proud to be part of this historic town!
