HAZMAT and Other Services

CDL: ELDT Theory HAZMAT (Cost: $120)

This class is for those wanting to add a Hazardous Materials Endorsement (H) onto their current CDL license. Students will need to complete this course before they will be permitted to take their knowledge test for hazardous materials. Upon completion of this course the results will be submitted to the FMCSA Training Provider Registry.

This course is 100% online and can be taken any place, anytime.

After registration, you will receive a payment receipt email. Attached to that email will be a PDF with directions on accessing your course.

**Additional requirements to an H endorsement (background check, fingerprinting, etc.) are not provided by DMACC**

RV Safety Training (Cost: $400)

This course is designed to teach you how to drive your RV safely, under varying conditions and circumstances. This course is offered on Fridays from 12:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m., and scheduled as needed, depending on availability.

3-Day CDL Refresher Courses - Now Available!

  • DMACC Certified CDL Refresher Course. Complete 6 online modules (5 hours) and demonstrate proficiencies behind the wheel to earn a DMACC CDL Refresher Certificate. Covers basic intersection control; defensive driving; basics of CSA for drivers; US regulations for hours of service and logbooks; and skid control, recovery, jackknifing, and other emergencies.
  • Personalized Non-certified CDL Refresher Course. Use the content of DMACC’s Certified Refresher course to refresh skills current in only the areas you choose. No proficiency demonstration required.

Evaluation

  • Cost: $185 per student
  • Details: Each student will complete a 2-hour driving evaluation with an instructor to assess their skills and receive feedback on areas for improvement. Evaluations will be scheduled and conducted by instructors on shift.

Theory Basics (Certified Refresher Only)

  • Cost: $20 per student
  • Details: This online course reviews topics that will prepare students to be successful during their CDL Refresher Course and is a pre-requisite for that class. This course DOES NOT satisfy the federal requirements for ELDT. 

Training Schedule

  • Day 1 (Initial Training): $700 per student
    • Less evaluation cost ($185)
    • Day 1 payment after evaluation: $515
  • Day 2 & 3 (Optional): $250 per day per student
  • Total for 3-Day Refresher: $1,200 per student
