Beginning March 7, the Ankeny Testing Center will be open the 1st Saturday of every month from 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. (closed on 7/4 and 9/5).

The Ankeny Testing Center will proctor these tests​ on ​the first Saturday of the month:  

  • ​ATI TEAS (testers must arrive at 8 a.m.)

  • HESI and CNA (testers must arrive between 8 a.m. and 9:30 a.m.; CNA testers need to register online)

  • Plumbing/HVAC (testers must schedule an 8 a.m. appointment and have a test which is three hours or less)

  • Chemical Applicator (walk-in between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m.)

  • Dental Board (walk-in between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m.)

  • DMACC make-up, ACCUPLACER, Typing, Mechanical Reasoning, and exams from other colleges (walk-in; allow enough time for the test)

  • CLEP is not offered on Saturdays​

Please note:

  • Testing is provided on a walk-in basis except as noted under Available Testing (appointment needed). Please call 515-964-6595 for tests requiring an appointment. Sufficient time should be allowed for test completion within designated office hours.

  • A photo ID is required for all testing.

  • Students taking DMACC make-up tests are required to know the last name of the instructor.

  • If you have an approved accommodation from Disability Services that requires the test be read for you via Kurzweil or you need a quiet room for testing, please complete the Ankeny Campus Test Accommodation Request for each exam you take in the Ankeny Testing Center so the Testing Center can reserve a room for you.

  • Cell phones, pagers, FitBits, smart watches and other electronic devices are not allowed in the Testing Center.

  • Food and beverages are not allowed in the Testing Center.

  • Non-DMACC students: Distance testing is a service provided for non-DMACC students who wish to have their test proctored at a DMACC Testing Center. These outside testers are charged $20/test with one exception - if the tester attends an Iowa Community College and is taking an exam for a credit course, the fee is waived due to a reciprocity agreement between all Iowa Community Colleges. All incurred fees are payable on the day of the exam.
