The DMACC Building Trades Diploma program provides students with the skills and knowledge necessary to enter either residential or commercial construction fields. Students will receive daily one-on-one attention with the same instructor throughout the program, actively work on constructing multiple homes in the Des Moines Metro area, as well as cabinets and other projects during the one-year training program, and have access to onsite program advisor to help you get started and stay on track during the program.

The program includes blueprint reading, material estimating, framing, drywall, trim work, siding, roofing, and concrete.
