DMACC Network User Name and Password

You can access DMACC's network from any campus location.

User Name

  • The default user name is your first initial, middle initial and last name.
  • In case of duplicate user names, a number is added after last name (i.e. efhutton23).


  • Your default password will be sent via email and post office letter shortly after your submission for application to DMACC.
  • The first time logging into a DMACC computer or myDMACC, you will be required to change your password. 

    When creating a password, you must meet the following criteria: 
    • must be at least eight (8) characters long
    • must contain an upper and/or lower case letter
    • must contain a number (0-9)
    • must contain a special character ! @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) ? \ { } - ~ =
  • You are required to change your password every six months.

Note: If unsure of Username or Password, on the myDMACC Sign in page, use the Look Up Username or Forgot Password links (these are located on the myDMACC homepage). For assistance, email or call 515-965-7300 or 800-362-2127, (ext. 7300).

How to Change Your Password

Change your network password from a campus PC

  1. Log into PC and press Ctrl/Alt/Del
  2. Click Change a password…
  3. Type old password.
  4. Type new password.
  5. Retype password to confirm and click OK.

Change your network password from

  1. Sign into and in the upper-right corner, click Reset Password
  2. Enter New Password > Verify New Password > click OK

How to Access DMACC's Network from any Campus or Center

  1. Turn on any computer on any campus or center.
  2. Press Ctrl/Alt/Delete at the prompt.
  3. Key in your unique user name and password and click OK.

DMACC Online

  • is the DMACC Home Page where anyone may find links and references to additional information.  Click the Sign In button to access more information.
  •, is our internal network where only DMACC staff, faculty, and students may find links and references to additional information relevant to them. 

By signing into myDMACC, the user will have easy access to important links (Web Info System, Webmail, Office 365, Blackboard) as well as pertinent announcements, information, etc.  When prompted for user name and password, it will be the same as your network login information.  (User name only, no

On the myDMACC Sign In page, enter your DMACC User Name and Password. Click Login.

myDMACC will open to the myDMACC the myDMACC Home tab showing links to Web Info System, Webmail, etc., and other relevant information such as the DMACC Daily. For additional information click the Student, Faculty or Staff tab.

Web Info System

Use Web Info System to access or submit information about you such as:  class information, grades, financial aid, timesheet, leave requests, pay stub, tax forms, etc.

Access from DMACC Homepage

  1. Navigate to the DMACC Home Page and click on myDMACC logolink or open a browser window and type in
  2. On the Sign In page, enter your DMACC Username​ and Password. Click Login.
  3. To access Web Info System once you're logged in, click on the Web Info System buttonWeb Info System on the left navigation. Or if on the Student, Faculty or Staff tab, click the + on the Web Info System button to expand the menu.

Web Info System PIN

If asked for a PIN (Personal Identification Number) when using the Web Info System, it may be viewed by performing any of the following.

  • When on the Student Tab
    • Expand the menu under Web Info System and click View PIN, or
    • Click on Other Resources in the myResources area, and click on View PIN.
  • On the myDMACC homepage, click on the Web Info System button > click Personal Information View PIN

Technology Policies and Procedures

It is important that you take precautions to protect the confidentiality of your Web Info System PIN.  Never share it with anyone or post it in any manner.  If you believe your account has been compromised, you should report it immediately to Tech Support at 515-965-7300.

A student's DMACC network account will be kept a minimum of 150 days from the end of the last semester attended.  The retention policy for faculty/staff varies.  Refer to the policies and procedures link shown below for additional information.

All employees and currently registered credit students have a DMACC Outlook e-mail account.

Easily access your Outlook e-mail from off campus on any computer with an Internet connection (Webmail).

All email accounts have been migrated to Office 365. Additional Office 365 information.

  • On Campus (Desktop)
    Start > All Programs > Microsoft Office > Microsoft Outlook or click Outlook icon located on desktop.
    Tip: Drag Outlook icon to Taskbar to Pin to Taskbar. Or right-click icon to Pin to Taskbar or Pin to Start Menu.

Microsoft Office & Windows

  • The office suite currently used and supported at DMACC is Microsoft Office 2013 or 2016.
  • The operating system currently used and supported at DMACC is Windows 7.
  • Because of an agreement between DMACC and Microsoft, all credit registered DMACC students, staff, and faculty may download Office 365 ProPlus for free.  A download version of the Microsoft Office suite is also available to staff and faculty at a reduced price.

Data Storage

You have several options for saving files. No matter the option, you can organize your files in a manner that works best for you. To avoid electronic clutter, delete files you no longer use.

Network P: Drive

System is backed up daily.

May access from any computer on a DMACC campus or when off campus, access through

One Drive

One Drive is an online storage location on a Microsoft server instead of a DMACC server and the advantage is that the files are available to the user and others, if permissions are set, from any device at any time via Microsoft Office or Office 365. Each user as 5 TB (terabyte) of free online storage.

DMACC Virtual Lab

My Lab is an environment that simulates a network desktop and is accessible from any PC with an Internet connection using the VMware View client.

When working within the Virtual Lab environment, you will have access to your P: drive, DMACC Outlook email, and some specialized software.

To Access the Virtual Lab:

  1. On the Desktop, double-click the VMware icon.
  2. If necessary, select the Connection Server name:
  3. Enter your User Name and Password, and verify that the Domain is DMACC.
  4. Click Login


The DMACC OneCard, the official College picture ID for credit students, is also your DMACC Library Card and is required to borrow items from the library. If you don't have a OneCard and need a library card, please contact your campus library.

Students, faculty, and staff wanting to access library content (databases, films, etc.) off campus can authenticate and use the library services with their DMACC network user name and password.

My Online Learning

Online classes at DMACC are offered through the Blackboard Learning Management System.

  • An online orientation for new students will be available two weeks prior to the course start date.
  • Students will not be able to access their Blackboard class until the day before the online credit class begins.
  • Instructors wishing to web enhance, web blend or teach an online course are required to complete a Blackboard training course.
