Venture School

​In 2023 DMACC partnered with the University of Iowa's Venture School Program - an eight week, premier statewide program for entrepreneurs. ​

Venture School's curriculum was developed by the National Science Foundation I-Corps at Stanford University and the University of California, Berkeley.  It has helped guide over 250 teams across the state of Iowa. It is designed to benefit Iowa startups, small businesses, non-profits, and corporate innovation teams.

Participants will gain marketing experience and make valuable connections to help them take their innovative idea to the next level. 

Teams can compete for cash awards locally and at the state level during the EntreFEST 2024 Venture School launch day.
