DMACC DualEnroll Implementation Project

This webpage provides high school partners and DMACC stakeholders with ongoing updates, project information, and timelines related to the DMACC DualEnroll Implementation Project.

What is DualEnroll

DualEnroll is a software platform designed to support concurrent enrollment programs. The platform helps simplify course registration for students while streamlining administrative processes for colleges and high schools.

DualEnroll provides:

  • A user-friendly registration portal
  • Customizable workflows with centralized visibility
  • Integration capabilities with student information systems.
  • The platform is designed to support communication, organization, and coordination between students, families, high schools, and colleges.

The Purpose of the DualEnroll Implementation Project

DMACC is implementing DualEnroll in response to three key needs:

As DMACC concurrent enrollment participation continues to grow across all concurrent enrollment course formats (in the high school, online or at a DMACC campus), DMACC needs a registration process that is easier for high schools and DMACC staff to use, supports more accurate registrations, and can better manage future enrollment growth.

DMACC is responding to high school partners’ feedback requesting a more consistent registration process across all DMACC concurrent enrollment modalities. This process will better reflect how students enroll in college courses.

This implementation also helps prepare DMACC for the technology needs to support future enrollment growth

DualEnroll Project Implementation Benefits for Students

  • Provides a more consistent registration process for DMACC concurrent enrollment courses across high schools, online options, DMACC campuses, and career academies.
  • Helps students better understand the responsibility of enrolling in a college-level course while still in high school.
  • Supports stronger academic, transfer, and career planning by helping students connect course choices to long-term goals.

DualEnroll Project Implementation Benefits for High Schools

  • Provides a more consistent registration process across DMACC concurrent enrollment course options and locations.
  • Helps high schools and DMACC staff better manage registrations, increase communication, and support more accurate enrollment information.
  • Supports clearer communication and visibility throughout the registration process for high schools, students, families, and DMACC staff.
