The Mortuary Science/Funeral Services programs will prepare students to work within the funeral service profession.
The Mortuary Science Program offers students hands-on activities and discussions to assist in the learning process. Instructional methods include on-campus and funeral home based options with practicum experience at a licensed funeral home. Facilities range from a state-of-the-art embalming and preparation room to professional funeral directing setup area for conferences, visitations, and funerals.
The Mortuary Science Advanced Standing Diploma is required for students who wish to become licensed in Iowa.
