The DMACC Industrial Technician Program provides students conceptual and hands-on training in the technology and practices used in the growing field of advanced manufacturing. What You'll Do

  • Perform predictive and preventative maintenance tasks
  • Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
  • Use digital electronic equipment including Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical motor controls and electrical equipment
  • Interact with members of the workforce who have various levels of knowledge and experience with electronic equipment

Hands-On Training

  • Indoor lab features over 30 pieces of training equipment ranging from basic to advanced topics
  • Equipment includes trainers for electrical hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLCs
