Program Options
Electric Utility Technology Diploma

Includes all essential utility courses

Complete in 12 months
Electric Utility Technology AAS Degree with Management and Leadership Certificate

Includes all the essential utility courses and business management and leadership courses.

Complete in 20 months.
Both programs include hands-on training, with a focus on safety and practical experience. You’ll also benefit from DMACC’s strong connections to employers who hire apprentices.
Program Entry Requirements
- Complete an application for admission.
- Earn a minimum ALEKS math placement score of 14.
- Attend the DMACC EUTP-sponsored “Try the Trade Day”. Prospective students will be required to attend the event, which will consist of elementary pole climbing and an informal interview with the instructor. The event details will be announced by email to all applicants no later than December.
- This is considered a limited capacity program. There is a limited number of seats for students to start each Fall term. Seats are determined no later than April.
