Welcome to DMACC Capitol
DMACC Capitol Center offers Nursing, Certified Nursing Assistant, and Early Childhood Education programs as part of DMACC Des Moines/Urban. Along with traditional classroom space, much of the building is configured as patient rooms identical to a modern medical clinic. It is also home of the DMACC Healthcare Simulation Center that provide students with hands-on experience evaluating illnesses.
Healthcare Simulation Lab
Simulation rooms represent a different healthcare setting for training. State-of-the-art, life-like, automated manikins can be programmed to talk and display symptoms of various illnesses and conditions.
Adult Education/HiSET
The HiSET (High School Equivalency Test) is an assessment of skills and knowledge comparable to those of a high school graduate as an alternative for those who are unable to finish high school.
