Welcome to DMACC Capitol
DMACC Capitol Center offers Nursing, Certified Nursing Assistant, and Early Childhood Education programs as part of DMACC Des Moines/Urban. Along with traditional classroom space, much of the building is configured as patient rooms identical to a modern medical clinic. It is also home of the DMACC Healthcare Simulation Center that provide students with hands-on experience evaluating illnesses.
Academic Programs
Several Des Moines/Urban programs are offered at DMACC Capitol. Our academic programs provide structured educational opportunities to acquire knowledge, and develop skills to better prepare you for the future.
Healthcare Simulation Lab
Simulation rooms represent a different healthcare setting for training. State-of-the-art, life-like, automated manikins can be programmed to talk and display symptoms of various illnesses and conditions.
