We are a group of Nursing Students from the Ankeny and Urban Campuses. Our goal is to further prepare nursing students for their profession by becoming involved in our community, attending the state student nursing association to learn about legislation, inviting speakers to meetings to teach us about employment after graduation, and holding workshops to help build resumés. We meet once a month in the evening and try to alternate meetings between the Capitol Center downtown, and the Ankeny Campus. We want to be fully prepared, and productive members of the nursing profession and the healthcare community when we graduate.

Students at DMACC may also earn honors from the Iowa Communication Association. All students are welcome to join Communicate!, and all students are encouraged to earn the honors in speech.
