Do you need transferable courses from Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC)?
DMACC is now offering over 40 classes in more than 20 disciplines at the Ames Hunziker Center. These courses are transferable and offered at convenient times in the afternoons and evenings. With classes no larger than 30 students, instructors are able to provide quality one-on-one instruction, which enables you to achieve your academic goals. The Hunziker Center, located near the intersection of Interstate 35 and U.S. Highway 30, is only 5 minutes from Iowa State's campus. Check out the full course schedule.
Want to take a DMACC class at no additional cost?
If you are a full-time Iowa State student who has completed a minimum of 12 semester hours of 100 level courses (excluding the English 101 series) and are in good academic standing (2.00 or better cumulative grade point average and not on academic probation at ISU), you are eligible to participate in the Cross Enrollment Program. This program allows 50 ISU students to enroll in a DMACC course once an academic year at no additional cost provided you are registered as a full-time student at Iowa State and meet the eligibility criteria.
