Earlier this month, the Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Honor Society held its 2024 International Convention in Orlando, Fla, and two students and two advisors from the DMACC Carroll Campus were in attendance!
DMACC Pre-Nursing students Ayu Perwitasari (above, top row, left) and Andreas Setiawan (top row, right), who are both originally from Indonesia and now live in Carroll, were joined by DMACC Carroll Campus Academic Advisor Val Enenbach (above, bottom row, left) and DMACC Carroll Campus English Professor and PTK Advisor Cody Chesmore (bottom row, right) at the convention.
Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) recognizes the academic achievement of college students and provides opportunities for its members to grow as scholars and leaders, and is the official honor society for two-year colleges. Established in 1918, PTK now has a presence on almost 1,300 community college campuses in 11 countries around the world.
