In Communicating to Fit the Situation, you learned about the three obstacles to connective communication and the three solutions. In this session, we go deeper. After a brief review of the three obstacles--maturity in the moment, personality styles and trait differences, and the tendency to be vague and make attitude assumptions--we will spend the bulk of our time applying the obstacles and solutions to real work situations and practicing them to build skills. Prerequisite: DMACC Communicating to Fit the Situation course from the Emerging Leaders series.
