Orientations at the West Des Moines Campus are specific to the program in which you have enrolled.

Important: Make sure you are enrolled in the correct program and campus location before making your orientation reservation.

Please follow this quick, two-step process to make your online orientation reservation.

Step 1: Review Orientation Requirements​

   Who Needs to Attend DMACC Orientation
  • Completion of orientation is mandatory for all new, degree-seeking students.
  • Some students who have changed programs or have not attended their program for three or more years will be required to complete a new orientation​
  • Guest students or continuing education students (taking a class for an employer, for CE credits, etc.) are not required to complete orientation. Guest students are those enrolled at another institution and taking a course or courses at DMACC to transfer over. To update your academic status to reflect your status as Guest or Non-degree seeking, please ​contact admissions at 515-965-7337 or admissions@dmacc.edu.   

 

CAUTION: If you are changing your application status or program, do not continue with orientation until you receive notification that your update is complete. Orientation can differ based on student type and program.

To change your Academic Program, complete and submit the Program Change form​.
