Clinical Practicum I

This course will develop the skills needed to work as a surgical technologist. This includes instruction with a preceptor on preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative surgical case management at the clinical facility. The student will scrub on a variety of surgical cases. Prerequisite: BIO 168, BIO173, BIO 186, SUR105, SUR130, SUR 150, SUR 109, SUR 140. All completed with a "C", or better prior to enrollment in this course.
