Surg Procedures/Techniques I

This course teaches the student about the aspects of common surgical procedures. Minor and major cases in a variety of surgery areas will be discussed, including general, obstetric and gynecological, ophthalmic, otorhinolaryngologic, plastic and reconstructive, urologic and orthopedics. There is a two hour lab requirement associated with this course. Prerequisite: BIO 168, BIO 173, BIO 186, SUR105, SUR, 130, SUR 150, SUR 109, SUR 140. All completed with a "C", or better prior to enrollment in this course.
