Medical Office Procedures II

This course is a continuation of clinical skills. Students will use critical thinking skills to incorporate cognitive knowledge in the performance of psychomotor and affective domains during practice of: Surgical Procedures. Emphasis on pharmacology and administration of medications: oral and parenteral (excluding IV). Documentation of various forms of medications. Dosage calculations and the physiological actions of drugs on the human body are addressed. Prerequisite: Grade "C" or better in MAP 347 Corequisite: MAP 228
