Students will use critical thinking skills to incorporate cognitive knowledge in the performance of psychomotor and affective domains during practice of: patient communication, obtaining vital signs and measurements, vision and hearing screening exams, pulmonary function testing, patient preparation, assisting physician, patient histories, medical record documentation, medical and surgical asepsis, sterilization techniques and minor surgical procedures.
