Advanced PLC

This course is designed for the student who is already proficient with ladder logic and loading programs into PLCs. The course will introduce the student to both hardware and software operator control panels, analog sensor interfacing, analog programming and exchange of data over networks. A hands-on lab component will give the student the opportunity to install, program and troubleshoot networked PLC hardware. Prerequisite: ELT 123
