ANNOUNCEMENT FOR FALL 2021: DMACC Administrators are planning to start a “new normal” in college operations when fall classes resume on Aug. 25. While most face-to-face classes are scheduled to return this fall, the College plans to take additional proactive steps that represent the “new normal” to keep students, faculty and staff safe. Face masks will still be required until further notice. Plans to return to fully in-person operations could change depending on the state of the pandemic over the summer and into the fall.
DMACC has worked to provide a variety of class delivery types during this time of social distancing. The terms below will help you better understand the Course Delivery as you determine how you want to take classes:
Face-to-Face:
Face-to-Face class at DMACC Campus or Center
- Blackboard will be used for sharing course syllabus, course materials, and the gradebook
CLASS LOCATION LISTED AS:

Web-Blended (Face-to-Face & Online):
Online:
Taught completely online with no specific meeting times
- Lectures, learning materials, assignments, tests are delivered using Blackboard
- No Face-to-Face Component; Students will not come to a DMACC Campus or Center
- Blackboard will be used for sharing course syllabus, course materials, and the gradebook

In May 2020, DMACC offered virtual and online course support workshops for students. Each session included a faculty or staff member from the following areas: DMACC Distance Learning (Blackboard help), academic advising, counseling, and the Academic Achievement Centers (AAC) and testing centers.
