What does free drop mean?

The free drop is the time period within which students may drop a course without transcript notation or financial penalty. These deadline dates are published the DMACC Credit Schedule, and on the DMACC website at: http://www.dmacc.edu/refund.asp.

If I drop my class, will I be charged?

I am trying to register for my courses online… why am I not able to register?

Check the registration dates here: http://go.dmacc.edu/registration/pages/welcome.aspx. You should also check your registration status using the DMACC Web Information System - check your registration status. If you have a hold on your account, you will not be able to register.

How do I change my course from earned credit to audit?

Your instructor must sign your drop/add form. The form should be submitted to the student services office. Information about this process can be viewed at: http://my.dmacc.edu/sites/studentservices/Shared Documents/ES4531 Final.pdf.

How can I be reinstated back in my class after the last day to drop?

If you have extenuating circumstances beyond your control, you may meet with an Ombudsperson at a campus near you to request a Petition for Policy Waiver. Additional information can be accessed at: http://my.dmacc.edu/sites/studentservices/Shared Documents/ES4650 Final.pdf.
