About the Program

​​The program can be completed in five terms. It begins for new students once a year in the fall. Students are accepted on a “first come first served” basis and are assigned to a cohort of 20 students.

In addition to DMACC’s application process, students must:

  • Complete an in-person or online information session within two years of program entry

  • Meet with the academic advisor assigned to this program

  • Pass a criminal background check

  • Adhere to the program's attenda​nce policy​​​


The Surgical Technology program is based at DMACC’s Urban Campus​.
