Education Transfer Pathway

The Education Transfer Pathway allows you to earn a Liberal Arts Associates in Arts (AA) degree that transfers to many four-year institutions in Iowa as well as throughout the country. With an AA degree you can continue your career goal to become an educator.

This pathway includes:
  • a general course schedule for teacher education students.
  • transfer agreement guides to many 4-year college/university Teacher Education Programs.

If you are planning to complete the degree part-time, take all Term 1 courses before moving to Term 2.

***It is highly recommended you visit with a DMACC academic advisor as you plan your course schedule. Make sure to mention you are a Pre-Education student.
