Classroom
The classroom is designed to accommodate over 30 students and is equipped with state-of-the-art technology including the interactive Classroom Performance System (CPS), ELMO projection system, and various multimedia features. The classroom also houses several caskets, personalized corner piece displays, and multiple burial vault merchandising units.
Embalming Suite
The state-of-the-art, OSHA compliant embalming lab provides opportunities for students to view and learn about embalming chemicals from no less than six different chemical manufacturers, embalming instruments, three different models of embalming machines most commonly used in the field, and the use of a life-like training mannequin to simulate removal and transfer exercises. In addition, Restorative Art Lab cosmetic activities and feature reconstruction activities are also performed in the embalming lab.

Chapel/Visitation Room
The Mortuary Science Chapel and Visitation Room is also equipped with multimedia technology including an overhead projection system and portable instruction station. It is designed to provide space for simulated visitations and funerals, merchandise selection room activities (which include the use of a large, movable, 6-piece fractional casket display unit and a miniature replica monument display), and funeral service antiquities on loan from funeral directors. In addition, spacious conference tables and a state-of-the-art laptop cart housing 32 computers are provided to students for preparation of death certificates, register books, and other print items commonly created by the funeral director. Other features of the chapel/visitation room include a resource library, personal computer stations, and a coffee bar.
