It is designed to provide space for simulated visitations and funerals, merchandise selection room activities (which include the use of a large, movable, 6-piece fractional casket display unit and a miniature replica monument display), and funeral service antiquities on loan from funeral directors. In addition, spacious conference tables and a state-of-the-art laptop cart housing 32 computers are provided to students for preparation of death certificates, register books, and other print items commonly created by the funeral director.
