All students in the ITR AAS must complete an internship in their concentration area. Successful completion of the internship is a requirement for graduation from the ITR program. With advice from ITR faculty, students obtain their own internship in healthcare institutions, social services agencies, law firms, government agencies, and businesses. At the end of the internship, students will have professional resumes and portfolios that will help them obtain jobs in the field.
Graduates of the ITR program are prepared for employment in courts, law enforcement agencies, healthcare institutions, social services agencies, educational institutions, nonprofit organizations, government agencies, and businesses.
Students working in medical and legal services are able to improve their standard of living, and employers and organizations benefit from the professional services our students bring to their organizations.
