DMACC Healthcare Simulation Center Information
Roles:
The DMACC Healthcare Simulation Center has a variety of different roles who are part of orchestrating simulated learning experiences for learners. These roles include:
- Simulation Coordinator – Manages the Center. Oversee simulation learning experience to make sure they meet best practice and regulatory guidelines
- Simulation Faculty –Manage the simulation learning experience for students
Simulation Technicians- Provide support for simulation faculty, students, and others who participate in simulation learning experiences

The Center hosts the following courses/activities
- National Registry Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic Examination
- Difficult Airway Course
- DMACC Career Discovery Day
- Central Iowa Simulation Network Conference and Workshops
DMACC Fall Capstone Simulation Event (Hospital Blackout)
