The Loading...Aging Services Management, Long-Term Care, AAS degree program provides students with the opportunity to develop the knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of a healthcare administrator in long-term care facilities and residential care facilities; a director in assisted living and adult day care programs; or management with adult services agencies. An administrator or director may be responsible for planning, organizing, staffing, directing and budgeting of a facility or agency that works with the older adult population.
Completing the AAS degree gives you the option of seeking employment in a health care related field or transferring to a four-year college or university. To meet licensure requirements, you must have a 4-year degree. Classes are held at the Ankeny campus.
