Electro-Mecha​nical Technology - Certificate

The Loading...Electro-Mechanical Technology Certificate is a series of occupational related courses that provide a pe​rson with an understanding of basic areas in industrial maintenance. This c​ertificate can build into a diploma or AAS in Applied Engineering Technology.

Students who complete the 25 credit Electro-Mechanical Technology Certificate can take an additional 12 credits specified as required for an Loading...Applied Engineering Technology Diploma.

 

Applied Engineering Technology - Diploma

The Loading...Applied Engineering Technology Diploma program prepares students for a career as a maintenance technician in industrial manufacturing. At the completion of the program, students should be able to troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment ranging from basic mechanical equipment and electrical motor controls to the more complex systems used in manufacturing environments.

Students who complete the 37-credit Applied Engineering Technology Diploma can take an additional 30 credits specified as required for an AAS in Loading...Applied Engineering Technology-Electro-Mechanical Technologies, AAS.

  

Applied Engineering Technology - Associate in Applied Science - Degree

All students in DMACC's two-year AET program are trained in the fundamentals that make them qualified for a broad array of jobs. Each student also chooses one of these specialization tracks:

Loading...Applied Engineering Technology-Electro-Mechanical Technologies, AAS — Develop broad skills for manufacturing settings, including the use of motor and electronic controls, hand power tools, operation of engine lathes and mills, plumbing, pipefitting and pump repair.

Loading...Applied Engineering Technology-Wind Turbine Technologies, AAS — Focus on the wind turbine electric generation industry, including power transmission systems and turbine mechanical systems and controls.
