Online Basics for Students

​​​We are happy that you have chosen to take an online or blended course at DMACC!  This training session is designed to familiarize you with Blackboard and online learning.

Students registered for online classes are automatically loaded into the online student "Blackboard Basics for Students" training course starting two weeks before classes begin. If you register within the two weeks leading up to the beginning of the term, you will have access 48 hours after you register.

To access the online version of this training, visit DMACC's Blackboard site and log in using your DMACC username and password. Click the "Blackboard Basics for Students" link in your My Courses list to enter the training course. You may also view this training online by visiting the Tutorials page.

If you prefer a face-to-face version, or if more help is needed after going through the online version of the training, the face-to-face "Online Basics for Students" sessions are scheduled on the dates listed below.

It is not necessary to sign up for these face-to-face sessions; just show up for the session that works best for your schedule and location.

You will need to bring your DMACC username and login pass​word to the face-to-face orientation. Call DMACC Tech Support if you do not readily have this information.
