DMACC students capture 14 awards at Annual Award Exhibition
DMACC students win awards against college students from two- and four-year colleges at ADAI event.

DMACC Graphic Design and Animation students recently received 14 awards at the annual Art Directors Association of Iowa (ADAI)
Design Exhibition. Since 1958, ADAI has hosted an annual award
exhibition celebrating designers across Iowa, and bringing advertising
professionals and students together to showcase and recognize their work.

DMACC, I am elated to see recognition and the awards our students
received at the Art Directors of Iowa 62nd Annual ADAI Design
Exhibition," said Heather Purdy, DMACC Graphic Design Program Chair. “It
is a tremendous honor, and shows the hard work and dedication of
students and their instructors."
This year also marks the 50th
anniversary of the DMACC Graphic Design program, which was called
Commercial and Advertising Art when the program was established in the
