​Apply now for the DMACC Foundation $10,000 Entrepreneurship Competition

The deadline to submit applications for the Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC) Foundation $10,000 Entrepreneurship Competition has been extended. The competition is open to current DMACC students or DMACC alumni (completed twelve credit hours or more) who are operating a business in Iowa. The new deadline to submit an application is
May 21 by 4 p.m.

This is the fifth year of the DMACC Foundation Entrepreneurship Competition. Previous winners include: 2017 Colton Sleister, Owner of Sleister Brass; 2016 Dylan Book, Owner of Big Deal Car Care, from Adel; 2016 Kelsi Ziemann, CEO & Founder of Kelsi Ziemann Artistry, from Des Moines; 2015 Titan Immel, Owner of Upper Edge Ag LLC, from Stanley and 2014 John Ziebell, of JPZ Productions in Hubbard.

The winner of the DMACC Foundation $10,000 Entrepreneurship Competition will be announced at the DMACC Small Business Awards dinner September 13.

The award is made possible by a generous gift to the DMACC Foundation by an anonymous donor.
