DMACC and TSA established its partnership in early 2011 to deliver homeland security-centric courses via a college credit program known as the Associates Program. DMACC launched its homeland security emphasis five years ago by offering the classes to 112 TSA employees based in Central Iowa. The new announcement more than doubles the size of DMACC's Criminal Justice Program. TSA employees in 37 states and at 292 airports across the nation are now eligible to participate in the program.

TSA is committed to investing in its employees and encourages them to pursue additional training and higher education.
