Joan Jamison, Music Adjunct Instructor, teaches piano and the Introduction to Music class at the DMACC Ankeny campus. She received her bachelor's and master's degrees from Drake University, and has a Kodaly certification from the University of Calgary, Canada. Joan taught music in the public schools for 36 years, retiring in 1997. She also directs a Children's Choir at her church where she is also organist and pianist. She enjoys reading, golfing and vacationing.
