What the First Cohort Had to Say
"This program is so important. IT is dominated by men. Women need assistance in bringing their voice/knowledge/perspective to the table. This program not only teaches women how to code Java, it also serves to reinforce the idea that women should be lifting one another up and helping one another to be heard."
"My favorite part of the course was learning programming logic. That is the magic puzzle piece that I've been missing!"
"The instructor is excellent and so are my fellow students! Everyone was super helpful throughout the course and had a 'no woman left behind' mentality when working on homework & projects. I will miss seeing everyone in class on Fridays."
"Kelli was a great instructor, willing to take the time to help anyone and answer questions. She doesn't mind when you ask things that are different than what she taught. She explains things in a way everyone can understand. I would be happy to do another class with her instructing."
"Over all the course and the experience were amazing. Very happy I was able to be apart of this pilot program and hope to see it continue to grow."
"The instructor and the group of ladies made this an enjoyable learning atmosphere."
"Kelli is great! Loved the course and would love to come every Friday!"
"We had a very wonderful group of women who were willing to help others, share knowledge, and encourage each other. I will miss this group."
"I am so happy I got to be a part of this amazing course. Thanks for everything!"
"My favorite part of this course was the hands on experience I got from the group activities and projects."
"I've enjoyed the class! Learned a lot. Would recommend it to others."
