Individuals who believe they have been discriminated against may file a complaint through the College Discrimination Complaint Procedure. The
Discrimination Complaint Form (P-30) and filing instructions may be obtained from the Human Resources Department, the Provost's office, the EEO/AA Officer, or on the Web. Persons who wish additional information or assistance may contact the EEO/AA Coordinator, Executive Director, Human Resources, Bldg. 1, 515-964-6408. A faculty member should file his/her complaint with the immediate supervisor, unless that person is named in the allegations. In that case, the complaint should go to the next higher level.
A student should file his/her complaint with the appropriate Academic Dean or Provost, unless the Dean or Provost is named in the allegations. In that case, the complaint should go to the Chief Academic Officer.
All reported complaints are investigated. Investigators are to maintain the role of a neutral third party in the process.
