Employee Assistance Program

The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a DMACC-sponsored benefit provided to contacted employees and their family members. The purpose of EAP is to help you prevent or solve personal problems that occur in your life. With EAP, you have access to prepaid, professional services to help you deal with problems before they begin to affect your job performance or health. EAP professionals help with a wide range of human problems, including:

  • Family or relationship
  • Emotional or mental health
  • Work-related issues
  • Substance abuse and/or addiction
  • Financial or legal issues
  • Other problems that deal with daily living.

Sessions with EAP counselors to assess problems are provided at no cost. If you are referred for additional assistance beyond EAP, the financial responsibility will be yours. For more information, click here.
