Welcome to DMACC Forward, our commitment to continuous improvement in college operations.
The college commitment to this effort includes keeping you informed and involved as we move the college forward.
Ongoing projects that have been approved or assigned by the college or division leaders will be catalogued here and can allow for comment periods, occasional updates, and the distribution of supplemental materials.
This website also gives faculty and staff instant access to the most current updates or announcements, including academic program changes, college or business process changes, and other major items that need to be shared broadly across the district.
Departments or employees that are considering a new project and would like some oversight, direction, and accountability may choose to submit a project proposal to the Continuous Improvement Commission or contact a commission member.

Column 2
Any update to an existing, official college policy, procedure, operation, or process should be entered under this change type. Additionally, any major announcements about something that is new or changing at the college, should be posted here as well. Updates and Announcements should be brief, informative messages that communicate a change that has already occurred or is imminent and a wide range of employees need to know. Projects that will take a moderate amount of time to implement should be posted on the College Innovations page.
Updates and Announcements are relatively quick in nature or are decisions that have already been made. Examples of Updates and Announcements include new academic programs, the discontinuation of an academic program, new business hours for a department or campus, the announcement of an organization restructure, information on a new timesheet submission process, etc.
