The celebration featured a total of three runway shows, held April 18th-19th, and a "Midnight Metro" theme that was inspired by New York City's subway system.
Students presented their design creations across four categories: Cut and Sew, Styled, Reworked and Avant-Garde.
Cut and Sew: In this category, the art of cutting and sewing fashion is highlighted. Each ensemble is a testament to the skills and precision of the sewist from pattern drafting to final construction details.
Styled: This category places emphasis on the skill and creativity of fashion styling. Each ensemble is a testament to the art of pairing garments, accessories and make-up to create cohesive and captivating looks.
Reworked: This category celebrates the ingenuity of upcycled fashion. Each ensemble tells a story of transformation, breathing new life into forgotten garments and materials.
Avant-Garde: In this category, students put their imagination and creativity on display. From daring silhouettes to unconventional materials, each ensemble pushes the boundaries of traditional fashion.
