For classes held on a DMACC Campus or Center, please know that DMACC has implemented the following safety precautions and policies:
- All students and instructors must bring and wear a face covering at all times.
Classrooms and labs will be set up to provide 6 feet social distancing. Please maintain this distance in hallways, restrooms, etc.
Hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes will be provided in classrooms.
Food and drinks are allowed in classrooms and labs at the discretion of the instructor and must be kept under your control at all times to reduce exposure to others.
Drinking fountains and vending machines may not be available.
Custodial staff will conduct a “deep clean” prior to your class and perform cleaning protocols using authorized equipment and techniques.
Since circumstances can change quickly, please check our website ce.dmacc.edu for the most up-to-date class information.
Do not come to a DMACC Campus or Center if you:
Are not feeling well, have a new cough, shortness of breath, or difficulty breathing;
Experience a loss of, or change in, your normal sense of taste or smell (anosmia);
Display a fever of 100.4 degrees or higher (regardless of the cause;
Are waiting on COVID-19 test results for your or a member of your household due to a positive exposure or symptoms;
Have been exposed to COVID-19 in the past 14 days;
Have been in close contact with a presumed or confirmed positive case of COVID-19 in the past 14 days;
Have traveled internationally in the past 14 days.
If you test positive for COVID-19 after attending a class or have been in contact with someone who has tested positive, report this immediately to DMACC Continuing Education at
ce@dmacc.edu or 515-256-4912.
