- Nutrition Fundamentals and Medical Nutrition Therapy
This certificate training is completely online and can be completed in 6-months including Preceptor Field Experience if needed. You may take these three courses in any order you prefer and start the series when it works for you. Each of the three courses listed above are offered two times during the year, making it easier for you to complete as your schedule allows.

A DMACC Dietary Manager Specialist Certificate opens new career opportunities in managing foodservice operations. The certification proves your skills in ensuring food quality and safety standards are maintained, hiring and managing staff, and maintaining reports on income and expenditures, food, supplies, inventory levels, and equipment.
Growing Demand for CDMs
Strong growth in all areas of long-term health care have driven demand for Certified Dietary Managers (CDM). The current trend is toward requiring all long-term care organizations have a CDM overseeing their foodservice operations.
High Certification Exam Pass Rate
DMACC’s curriculum is designed to prepare students to pass the nationally recognized CDM Credentialing Exam. Our program uses the curriculum developed by ANFP and includes review sessions in preparation for the test.

The DMACC Dietary Manager Specialist Certificate program is approved by the Association of Nutrition & Foodservice Professionals (formerly Dietary Managers Association). Students are eligible for ANFP Pre-Professional membership; graduates are eligible to take the nationally recognized CDM Credentialing Exam (www.cbdmonline.org).
