A person who is at least 17 years of age and is not currently enrolled in high school may work toward a DMACC Adult High School Diploma.
The prospective student must submit a complete transcript to the High School Completion Center on the Ankeny campus, or the Academic Achievement Centers on the other campuses for evaluation. The requirements of the Adult High School Diploma are:

Total 36 semester credits |
A student must complete at least two (2) courses through DMACC. A student who needs more than 10 credits to earn a DMACC Adult High School Diploma is strongly urged to stay in school, or consider a GED diploma.
