Training Options

Recording of training presented on campus:
Click this 40-minute recording of BBP training link to view the presentation by the campus nurse on November 18, 2009.

DVD copies of the training have been distributed to the campus libraries and areas with several positions requiring the training. This is not a professional recording, but may work for some individuals or groups needing training. Please contact Carrie Haefner at cahaefner@dmacc.edu or 515-964-6288 if you do not have access to a DVD and would like to borrow one.

​Training presented by other sources:
Training can be presented by anyone who is knowledgeable in the subject area. Page 9 of the DMACC Bloodborne Pathogens Exposure Control Plan, available at the web link below, lists the items that must be included in the training to fulfill OSHA requirements.

Reporting Training Information to HR:
Page 20 of the DMACC Bloodborne Pathogens Exposure Control Plan, available at the web link above, contains the form used to report completion of BBP training. This form can also be used to report completion of Right to Know (RTK) or Formaldehyde (FOR) training.
